What is stored on your device
Two things: the language you picked, and whether you chose the light or the dark look. They are kept in your browser's local storage under the names mk-lang and mk-theme.
Both stay on your device. They are never sent to us and we cannot read them.
No tracking, no advertising
There are no advertising, tracking or statistics cookies on this site. We do not count visitors and we do not follow you to other websites.
Nothing is loaded from outside this site
Everything the site needs is served from this site: the pages, the photographs, the stylesheet, the scripts and the typefaces. Your browser never talks to another company while you are on these pages.
That means no font service, no embedded map, no video player and no social media button receiving your IP address. Photographs open in a viewer on this page instead of loading from a platform.
How to remove it
You can clear both stored values, along with everything else your browser keeps, from your browser settings, in the section that handles cookies and site data.
Why there is no cookie banner
Dutch law requires permission before information is stored on your device, unless it is strictly necessary for something you asked for. Remembering the language and the colour mode you chose falls under that exception, so there is nothing to click and no banner on this site.
